It’s been about a year since Frank and I played in the Google vs. Yahoo! Badminton tournament and took the B flight trophy home. Uitnodiging open dubbel tornooi

Op 8 en 9 november 2008 organiseert onze club zijn 12e badminton evenement. Net als de voorbije jaren wordt er op zaterdag een open dubbel tornooi gespeeld. Je kan inschrijven in gemengd dubbel en heren -of dames dubbel. Iedereen van recreant tot A speler kan deelnemen. Spelers van verschillende klassementen kunnen ook samen inschrijven. Pan Am Championships Individual Events 2008: Canada Dominates, Snider Takes First Major Title of Career

Canada has won 3 out of 5 titles, with Peru winning the other 2, and as predicted David Snider has won the men’s singles title. David defeated his fellow Canadian Stephan Wojcikiewicz 21-7, 23-21 to take his first major international title. This will go a long way to develop David’s confidence for bigger international tournaments. In the men’s and mixed doubles events Will Milroy won with partners Toby Ng and Fiona McKee respectively.
