Great Fun!

5.0 / 5.0

Ordered Speedminton in hopes of finding a game that was a bit faster, where the shuttlecocks didnt lose steam halfway to the target. This is it! My family actually had to adjust our game down a little because we were hitting the shuttles too hard out of habit. We have found the raquets and shuttlecocks to be very durable, and the lighted shuttle for night playing is fun and easy to see. My only complaint about the fun 3 pack I ordered for spares is that it didnt include a speed ring for days that are a little windy. Fortunately we still have the ones that came with the original raquets, but it seems like replacement shuttles should come with a replacement ring as well. I ordered extra shuttles because some of the reviews of the game said their shuttles were not made well and fell apart after a few hours. I haven't found this to be true for me. We still have and use all of the original equipment except for the cones that are used to mark the boundaries. We always play a free form game. We never used the net in badminton either. For those that do use a "court" I don't think the cones that come with the game are very convenient. There's a set of sandbag and rope courts you can order from Amazon that are much better. My understanding is that they used to come with the set but for some reason they switched to the cones. I guess the cones would allow for a more flexible court set up, but it seems like if you want a court with boundaries you would also want it regulation.
