A killer for playing doubles

4.0 / 5.0

If you are a doubles player who play a relentless attacking style, then this racquet may be ideal for you. It's extremely light and generates a lot of flex when you smash which gives you a lot of added "whip" power. However, if you are used to playing with stiffer racquets like the ones made out of titanium for example, then the first time you play with this racquet might throw your timing off (again, due to the flex/whip factor) and might even lead you to "dislike" this racquet due to differences in playing style. This racquet is suited to someone whose playing style is one of finesse and extreme quickness.

The one down side of this racquet is its brittleness. Due to the superslim design and its emphasis on flexibility, a mis-hit during contact with the bird might cause the racquet head to break. Therefore, this racquet is recommended for intermediate to advanced players. However, if you are a pretty good doubles badminton player at the competition level and if you like finesse, control, and a devastatingly quick attack power, then you might just like it! Happy playing.
